This essay was a little different than the others, in that it was a review of a book I read for honors titled, "Into the Wild". This book definitely impacted my outlook on my future and what it really is that I want in life. It made me question what I find value in doing and forced me to reflect on my American materialism.

My second book essay was on the book, "American Psycho". A brutal story of a wall street businessman who is a charming, hansom and witty stockbroker by day and a serial killer by night. Probably the most wicked book I had ever read, American Psycho captured me by its execution of extreme detail.

For my ten page honors capstone paper, I chose to write about abortion. You may be wondering why I would choose such a controversial topic for my essay. I feel that abortion is one of the most important ethical issues of our time. People have strong opinions on both sides of the argument but I believe that people don't fully understand why they support that certain claim. In my essay, I challenge readers to put their claims through the tests of philosophy to better understand why they support their claims.
